ABOUT US

STARTING OUT...
REPLAY started in February 2017, founded by our family (The McLeans) in Palmerston North. An overdue clean up in our garage produced a large amount of sport gear no longer needed but still good to be used again….
We decided to reach other Kiwi kids and families who may need a hand with accessing sport gear. Our goal was to give other kids the opportunity to play, be active and involved in their sport. Mum Denise (Ngāi Tahu), with a marketing background, made a few phone calls, set up a website and before too long 48 bundles of gear were making their way to some local active Kiwi kids. This was the start of REPLAY.
TODAY
Now, nearly 5 years later, over 19,000 pieces of sports equipment consisting of balls, boots, bats, sticks, shin pads and sneakers have been received and redistributed throughout the Manawatu, Whanganui, Rangitikei & Taranaki regions. We're delighted the Hawke's Bay region has recently joined us too.
We still have the same goal – helping give local kids the opportunity to be active, happy & healthy whilst giving the environment a hand at the sometime.

GOING FORWARD...
We have recently registered REPLAY NZ as a charitable entity. All of our work with recycling sport gear is undertaken with a 100% charitable purpose – to benefit our communities and our environment.
We are aiming to grow what we do around NZ, if you share our love of keeping our local kids active & helping our environment, please get in touch, we’d love to hear from you.
